Hmm! What’s in our heart when we do something, only I know? Think Think Think, Radhanath Swamis thought provoking quotes are the order of the day.
Heavy statement by Radhanath Swami Maharaj. It’s not easy to follow in conditioned state. We need lot of mercy to be able to follow it.
Radhanath Swami Maharaj telling us the right service attitude by which we can get maximum spiritual benefit out of service.
What a quote! Being boastful and proud even of spiritual activities nullifies the immediate positive effect of them on our consciousness. Pride cometh before the fall, or as someone said, pride is itself the fall, rest are all details.
maharaj is always getting to the root of all problems. in this case it is pride
Maharhaj speaking the truth and reminding us to away from this tendency.
amazing, we never thought like this. thank you Radhanath Swami .
Thankyou for posting!
Radhanath Swami is stressing on the need to be humble while performing our devotional service.
Very true..when we are proud of our services…the service loses its meaning all together.Real humility is what we need to imbibe from Maharaj
its really difficult to follow in today’s world because “to sell yourself you need to boast about what u have done”.. Maharaj is giving us the right way of getting maximum benefits, that is, to forget what good you have done to others.. JAI !!!
its really difficult to not talk about a service that i have done… but if i read such quotes everyday, hopefully someday it will not be tough
PAMHO. Maharaj telling something which is very common in many people, and which stop one to get total benefit out of it.
very nice quote
Maharaj at other place says that prestige, adoration and position are all meant for Krsna. By being boastful of our services we want to gain credit which is also meant for Krsna. So this is a symptom of envy of God.
tTank you very much Maharaj for this caution and direction.
Thank yu verymuch Radhanath Swamy maharaj for this wonderful quote
Thank you for this wonderful instruction. It’s a very difficult task to stop ourselves from boasting about something wonderful we’ve done, while ignoring 10 other things that we did wrong. The tendency is to take all credit for wonderful things and blame others for what goes wrong.
I must keep this in mind before i boast next time ….
Thank you Maharaj, for such nice explanation. When ever there is some expectaion, then we can not get the real bebefit of the service done
Radhanath Swami stressing – how to be humble specially, when in good times !!!
this was a real purification quote for me
Nice one. very helpful quote for me. Thanks a lot for sharing.
It is difficult to develop a service attitude and more difficult to deveop humility.
Very true……we are merely instruments of our Guru Maharaj in rendering our service and must be eternally grateful to him.
Very True. Radhanath Swami really has hit the nail. We should never be proud of any service we do.
thank u. secretive service gives more happiness.
It is so easy to carried away in taking credit for something we have done. Thank you Radhanath Maharaj for helping us realise this.
Such a subtle point…
Hopefully, with the blessings of Radhanath Swami, this tendency of taking credit will go away from my heart. Thank you Radhnath Swami for reminding me once again.
thank you very much
Radhanath Swami Maharaj shows by his own example how the service attitude should be. I hope and pray to follow in his footsteps.
Radhnath Swami Maharaj has pointed very deep aspect of service attitude and being humble…
