Death is like a storm which will sink everything in the river of time; the boat is the human body.

No matter how much we fight and pray to control our senses and lead a moral life, our envy, greed and lust will keep coming back, unless the holy name of the Lord actually goes right into our heart.

When we hear about the Lord, we should hear with a spirit to serve the Lord. When we chant his names, we should chant so that He is pleased to hear us chanting. That is the beauty of life, the real art of living.
The reversals experienced in life are actually the opportunities which could impel us to sincerely, with all humility, take shelter of the Supreme Lord.
The tendency in this world is that something has to thoroughly shake us up for us to really take shelter of the Lord.
Every breath we take, we are one breath closer to death.
The future we do not know. The past is dead. But to prepare for our future and learn lessons from the past, we have to be very keenly aware of the present.
The perfection of human existence is—to die to live: to die to all material connections and designations, and to perform our duties in the spirit of being servants of the God.
What we are attached to, that is what we take shelter of during death.
